Plugkit is a trade name of a Dutch sole proprietorship. The controller for your personal data is:

What we process, and why

Waitlist e-mail

If you sign up to be notified, we store your e-mail address. Legal basis: your consent. We use it only to tell you when a plugin goes live, and you can unsubscribe at any time (a link is in every e-mail). We do not use it for anything else and we never sell or share it.

Server logs

Our web server keeps short technical logs (such as IP address and requested page) to keep the site secure and prevent abuse. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in security. These are kept briefly and then deleted.

E-mail contact

If you e-mail us, we process what you send to answer you. Legal basis: legitimate interest / taking steps at your request.

Payments (later)

If paid plugins arrive, payment runs through Freemius as Merchant of Record — Freemius is the seller and handles the payment data. Legal basis: performance of a contract.

Who receives your data

We use a small number of processors, each under a data-processing agreement:

Some providers (such as Freemius) are based in the United States. Where data leaves the EU, we rely on an adequacy decision (EU–US Data Privacy Framework) and/or the EU Standard Contractual Clauses.

How long we keep it

Waitlist e-mails: until you unsubscribe, or until the plugins have launched and the list is no longer needed. Server logs: a short period for security. Correspondence: as long as reasonably needed to help you.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct, delete, restrict, or export your data, object to processing, and withdraw consent at any time. E-mail support@getplugkit.com. You also have the right to complain to the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens).

What the plugins send

The plugins calculate everything inside your own shop. No order or customer data is ever sent to Plugkit. If you choose to connect a plugin to our engine (api.getplugkit.com), it sends only what is needed to check your licence and version — never your orders, customers, or products. This is optional and off unless you turn it on.

Cookies

This site sets no tracking cookies and uses no third-party trackers or analytics. Fonts are system fonts, loaded from your own device. The only thing we store on your device is your language choice (English or Dutch), which is strictly functional and needs no consent.
